The City of Danville has "Christmas Parade" fun on their mind. This year's parade is set for Saturday, December 6th at 6 p/m.  Follow the City of Danville Arkansas Facebook page for further details.
The Dover Area Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for their "Hometown Christmas Celebration" on December 6th at the Dover City Park.  Cheerful holiday displays and entertainment are planned.  On hand that evening to entertain, Musical Mateys, Heartstrings, the Army Band and Merilee Voth.  And, a BIG Fireworks display will follow at 9:00.   Check the Dover Chamber of Commerce Facebook page for additional details.

Ola is getting ready for their 2025 Christmas Parade, coordinated by the City of Ola and the Ola Events Committee.  The parade is set for Saturday, December 13th with a tree lighting and Santa visit to follow.

The City of Hector is working on a memorial tree display at the Cecil  Riley Memorial Park (walking trail).  Contact Natalie Brock at City Hall  for further details.  Trees need to be up & decorated before Dec 8th & removed by Jan 5th.  There is no fee to  participate.

Tonight's (Thurs.) the night for the 2025 edition of the Russellville Christmas Parade.  A 6:30 start time is planned downtown, with this year's parade marshal, the city's "Citizen of the Year" Jane Pittman, leading the way.

The Willard C. Smith Toy Drive Tournament returns to the Russellville Country Club on Sunday, December 7th at 11 AM to benefit Toys for Tots! Bring your holiday spirit (and an unwrapped toy and enjoy a fun-filled 2-person scramble while helping make a difference for local kids this Christmas. Main Street Mission will be having their "Thanksgiving Meal" on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 25th and 26th from 10 a/m till 12-noon at their location 1110 East 2nd Street.  Pope and Yell County residents are invited to attend.  A ID or utility bill locally will be used as identification.

The "Old South" Restaurant will have their FREE Thanksgiving Meal again this year, this coming Thursday, November 27th from 11 a/m till 2.  Come join their family for Thanksgiving.

Russellville First United Methodist Church will again have their "Community Thanksgiving Meal" on Thursday, November 27th.  All are invited to join in a FREE traditional Thanksgiving meal.  Carryout 10:30 to 11:30 in the church at 304 South Commerce.  Or, dine in 11 a/m till 12:30 p/m.

Save the Date! Friday, December 12th for the Holiday Glow Art Walk from  6–9 PM in Russellville Downtown! Enjoy a festive evening of local art,  live music, carriage rides, and holiday cheer under the glow of downtown  lights.  Remember, this year's event will be the second Friday of  December.
