The L.V. Williamson Boys and Girls Club of Russellville will play host this Thursday, Friday and Saturday to the annual "Mistletoe Market, fund raiser for the club.  Set for November 4th and 6th, the effort; in its 14th year, involves a variety of vendors from throughout the valley and across the state.  Christmas gift and decorating ideas will fill the center for the run of the event.  Proceeds from the fund raiser make a difference throughout the year, acting as a foundation for a number of important club projects.  Get further information by going to the "Mistletoe Market" Facebook page...

Yell County Junior Auxiliary members will be coordinating a Kids Coat Drive on November 6th at the Dardanelle Courthouse.  Hours for the event will be from 9 a/m till 1 p/m.  A dropbox has also been placed in Wal-Mart of Dardanelle.

Russellville Airport will play host on November 6th to a Fly-In event that Saturday from 11 a/m till 2 p/m.  Coordinators say hot dogs, chili and soft drinks will be served and aircraft competitions are planned.  Get further details at City of Russellville-airport on Facebook.

A pancake breakfast and lunch at York Masonic Lodge on Hwy 164 west is set for Saturday, November 13 from 5am till the food runs out.  Pulled pork sandwiches, chips and a drink; you can take to the deer stand will be available for $ 5.00.   Breakfast and lunch will be 6-dollars,  cash or check only, as the lodge has no card reader available.  All proceeds will help fund various lodge projects and charities.  All money will stay right in here in the river valley.  Everyone is welcome...

The party will be November 21st and will start with a biscuit and gravy breakfast at 9am, followed with a worship service at 10:45, as-well-as a free hot dog meal from Fat Chance Franks, kids indoor and outdoor games, horse and buggy rides, and live performances by David Cox and Southern Gospel Quartet The Kinsmen. The Arkansas River Valley Arts Center's "Chili Bowl and Silent Auction" event has been rescheduled for November 13th.  The upcoming event will include a chili dinner donated by Brangus; with a large variety of toppings, adult beverage dessert and a hand-crafted pottery bowl.  A silent auction is also planned that evening.  Get further details at the River Valley Arts Center Facebook page.
