Russellville Airport Commission will meet on Tuesday, July 23rd at 6 p/m in the airport conference room.

Another Our Blood Institute drive is just ahead.  Monday, Pope County Department of Human Services will play host to the bloodmobile from 11-to-3 p/m.  Wednesday, its Dardanelle's Boots & Badges blood drive at the McGee Community Center from 1-to-6 p/m.  Friday, the bloodmobile will be at American Axle and Manufacturing in Paris from 11 a/m to 4 p/m.  Give the Gift of Life, and that truly is blood; during an upcoming Our Blood Institute drive.

Pope County fairgrounds will play host July  24th to an ARVAC Emergency food assistance program  distribution.  Hours for the event will be from 10 till  12-noon.  Due to continued Covid-19 concerns, this remains a  drive through distribution only.  For income guidelines and  other information, check the ARVAC, Inc. River Valley Arts Center will host their 1st annual UFO Festival, on Friday, July 26th.  The event begins at 12-noon with a variety of art projects, activities and fun.  Get further details at the Arts Center's Facebook page.

Pope County Library System's Summer Reading Program Finale is set for next Saturday, July 27th.  Filled with fun for all ages, the Summer Reading Program Finale is where you can turn in your Reading Log, enjoy a puppet show, take a Readers Soar Selfie, play some games, and try your hand at the Genealogy Scavenger Hunt.  Celebrate Reading Adventures at the Pope County Library in Russellville.

River Valley Boys and Girls Club Flag Football registration is now open! The league is open to boys & girls going into Kindergarten through 5th grade. Practices will start the week of August 26th and the season will end in early November. Russellville Kiwannis Club will again sponsor an early August free "Back 2 School Swim" at the Hickey Park Pool.  The event is for youth kindergarten to 12-grade, and will be held Saturday August 3rd from 6:30 to 8:30 p/m.  Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and bottled water will also be served.  Get further details by checking the Kiwannis Club Facebook page.
