Back to school time for many area districts, with classes at some area schools already underway.  Motorist are reminded of the importance of being aware of bus stops and student crossing.  Drive with care, limit cellphone use near school facilities and put safety first!!!

The 21st Annual River Valley Business Expo is set for today (Thurs.).  Russellville Chamber of Commerce coordinates the event annually, with this year's theme, "A Space to Innovate!"   Tucker Coliseum will play host to the event thisThursday fro m 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  All are invited... Admission is free!!!

Main Street Morrilton presents the Main Street Morrilton Third Thursday Farmers' Market at Wayland Holyfield Place in downtown Morrilton today (Thursday) from four to seven p.m.

Tomorrow (Fri.) night, Russellville's Depot Park will play host to a "Community Block Party", coordinated by the "Health Pope and Health Yell County Coalitions.  A 6 p/m start time is planned for the event, with a variety of free resources for families, individuals and seniors on hand to be of service.

Russellville Recreation and Parks has set the date for the 2024 Russellville Christmas Parade.  That date is Thursday, December 5 at 6:30pm.  In case of inclement weather, a rain date is set for Monday, December 9 at 6:30pm.  Online registration will be available at a later date.
