Back to school time for many area districts, with classes at some area schools already underway.  Motorist are reminded of the importance of being aware of bus stops and student crossing.  Drive with care, limit cellphone use near school facilities and put safety first!!!

23rd to watch HOME in the park! You are welcome to come and get settled starting at 8 pm, and we

Church League bowling gets underway for the fall September 19th at Strikers Bowling Alley.  A team 

meeting is planned for Friday, September 13th at 6:30 that evening.  League bowling runs for 10 weekend, 

wrapping up November 21st.  Call 968-0877 for further details.

The Arkansas Department of Health and county government in the area surrounding Arkansas Nuclear One will participate in an evaluated exercise on Tuesday, August 20th.  Following the exercise, a FEMA debriefing on that exercise will be held the following Tuesday, August 27th.

Russellville parks and recreation remind that the last day for the City Park Splash pad will be September 8th.

Russellville Recreation and Parks has set the date for the 2024 Russellville Christmas Parade.  That date is Thursday, December 5 at 6:30pm.  In case of inclement weather, a rain date is set for Monday, December 9 at 6:30pm.  Online registration will be available at a later date.
