Just days away from the 21st Annual River Valley Business Expo.  Russellville Chamber of Commerce annual coordinate the Expo, with this year's theme, "A Space to Innovate!"   Tucker Coliseum will play host to the event thisThursday from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  All are invited... Admission is free!!!

DIG Russellville reminds construction to install underground duct work crossing El Paso at West Main will continue through Friday evening August 16th. All construction will be done between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM.  Four traffic lanes will be open, 6:AM to 9:PM during construction; with the exception of the left turn lane at Main and South El Paso.  Please drive with care through this area...

Plans continue to be made for this year's Johnson County Fair, set for August 28th thru the 31st.  From pageants, poultry and pigs; to cattle and crafts, there is something for everyone to participate in and see at the fair! "Paint the Town Green and Gold" kicks off this week, hosted by Arkansas Tech and the Russellville Chamber of Commerce  will feature businesses and organizations decorating with an ATU theme; the week of August 12-thru-16th.  Move in day for incoming Tech students is Saturday, August 17th.  Judging will take place Aug. 20th.  Get further details by following the Russellville Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

Healthy Pope and Healthy Yell County Coalitions are getting ready for a "Community Block Party" this Friday, August 16th at Depot Park.  A 6 p/m start time is set for the event, which will feature a variety of free resources for families, individuals and seniors.  Free food, drinks, snow cones, entertainment and games for those young and young at heart will be featured.  Friday night, 6 p/m at Depot Park... Its a Community Block Party.

August 24st is the date for the 2024 Yell County Princess Pageant.  The event, to be held in the Danville High School auditorium will get underway at 10 a/m that morning.  Age divisions will include baby to 13, and the entry deadline is set for August 21st.  Get further details by searching Yell County Princess Pageant on Facebook.
