Augsburg Zion Lutheran Church is getting ready for their annual "Fallfest" set for Saturday, October 12th. Dardanelle's Veterans Riverfront Park will play host this weekend to the 3rd annual Chickamauga Cherokee Festival on Saturday. One of the coordinators of the event, Jim Davis says 40+ vendors will be on hand for the event, Will Lang's Native American flute-playing & storytelling are scheduled for 11am.  Also on tap, an exotic animal display, entertainment from Dan Kelley, Greg Collins of Crossroads Reunion and Mayshelle Kelley's spiritual / expressive dancing (12:15 & 2). Door prize drawing are planned throughout the day all day long (must be present to win), bouncy house fun, face-painting, hot food booths, fair foods, & more!!!! Needy Paws Animal Shelter/Clarksville is getting ready for their "Paws for the Cause" event set for October 12th.  The microchip clinic and adoption effort will be held fro 10 a/m to 2 p/m at the shelter on East Main.  Get further details by following Needy Paws Animal Shelter on Facebook.
