Russellville Boys and Girls Club is getting ready for their 17th Annual Mistletoe Market "Shop for a Cause" event. This year's effort is set for Friday and Saturday, November 8th and 9th aat the L.V. Pottsville Falls Fest car show is set for Saturday, November 2nd. Hours for the event to be held downtown; will be from 9-2. All proceeds goes to the renovations of the Falls & Sinclair mercantile building.

Its time to "Fall Back" for 2024, as "Daylight Savings Time" comes to a close this weekend. Clocks should be set back one hour at 2 a/m Sunday morning, or before you head to bed on Saturday night. Emergency Services officials remind this is a great time to change the battery in your smoke or carbon monoxide detector, in your home, office or business.

ATU Theatre and film have weekend performances of the play "Ripcord" planned for tonight (Fri.), Saturday and a Sunday matinee. Natalie Canerday and Holly Ruth Gail star, with shows at 7 p/m on Friday and Saturday and a 2 p/m afternoon performance on Sunday. The ATU Techionery Theatre will play host. Tickets, available at the door will be 5-dollars with a Tech student ID and 10-dollars without.
