The siren warning system around Arkansas Nuclear One will not be tested on  Wednesday, January 1st; due to the fact that state offices will be closed.  The siren system remains available for emergency use during these times.

The new year will bring a job fair to Yell County.  The event, planned for Tuesday, January 21st is being coordinated through the Dardanelle Area Chamber of Commerce.  Hours for the event, to be held at the CARDS Building on Highway 7 south; will be from 10 a/m till 2 p/m.  Chamber officials encourage all area employers to get involved... Do so by contacting the Dardanelle Chamber of Commerce or following their Facebook page.
