Another "Our Blood Institute" drive is just  ahead. Thursday, American Axle & Manufacturing in Paris  will be a donation location from 10:30 till 3:30 p/m.  Friday, Dardanelle high school will play host from 9 a/m  to 2 p/m.  And, Clarksville elementary from 1 p/m to  5:30 p/m. Give the "Gift of Life" at an Our Blood  Institute Drive, near you soon.

Saturday, January 18th is this year's date for the Dr.  Martin Luther King observance in Russellville, hosted by  the River Valley Progressive Men's Club.  An early  Saturday morning event by the Pink Rose Civic Society  and walk from New Prospect Baptist to the Hughes Center  will begin the day, about 9:30 a/m.  An 11 a/m start  time for the Hughes Center observance is set.

Members of the Arkansas Tech University community will  observe Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2025 with a  silent march on Monday, Jan. 20. The march will begin at  10 a.m. at Hindsman Tower and end at Doc Bryan Student  Services Center. The ATU Office of Multicultural Student  Services and the ATU Black Student Association are among  the sponsors of the event.

The Conway County Branch NAACP will host the Annual  Doctor Martin Luther King, Junior Parade on Monday,  January 20th. The starting point for the parade will be  the Morrilton City Park. Line-up will begin at ten a.m.

The Hughes Community Center will be closed Monday,  January 20, 2025 for observance of Martin Luther King,  Jr. Day.

January 25th is the date for the annual Dardanelle  Chamber of Commerce banquet.  "Red HOT Trivia is the  theme in 2025, with some special announcements about  honorees, who've made a difference in the past year.  A  great meal, some fellowship and fun and a BIG silent  auction to benefit Chamber activities in 2025.  Check  the Chamber Facebook page for further details.
