Pope County Sheriff Shane Jones would like to invited the  public to join him, his staff, and Pope County Judge Ben Cross  at a Town Hall style meeting at 6:00PM Monday, April 28th at  Pottsville City Hall. Discussion will be the proposed 3/4 cent  Public Safety tax that will be on the May ballot to fund a new  Detention Center and 911 center.

"All of Us," a collaborative choral experience featuring  artists from the Arkansas Tech University Department of Music,  is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, at ATU's Witherspoon  Auditorium. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission  will be free and open to the public.

The Russellville Symphony Guild will host its Annual Membership  Brunch on Thursday, May 1, from 11 am to 1 pm at the home of  Mrs. Bethany Hood located at 6 Pinecrest Drive in Russellville. 

This come-and-go event is for individuals who are interested in  joining the supporting members of the Russellville Symphony  Guild and contributing to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra's  outreach efforts in the Ark. Russellville Historic District Commission will host its fourth  annual "Ice Cream Social" on Friday, May 2nd at the Depot.   Hours for the event will be from noon till two.  The social is  held each year in observance of National Preservation Month and  Arkansas Heritage Month.

The River Valley Cancer Support Group, hosted by Carti Cancer  Center will be held Thursday, May 1st, from 3-to 4 pm.  session  feature guest speakers with a variety of topics covered.  The  group is open to all cancer patients with an official  diagnosis.
