Pottsville is searching for a new mayor, after long time community lead Randy Tankersley resigned recently.  Council council members recently declared a vacancy and established a Wednesday, August 20th deadline for those interested in interviewing for the post.  Applicant will address the full council and the community about their intent and vision during a Monday, August 25th meeting at 6 p/m in City Hall.  The individual selected will serve the remainder of Tankersley's term.  Contact Pottsville City Clerk for additional details.
