June 6th is the date for a special event involving River Valley Food 4 Kids. Their 10th Summer Food 4 Kids program will kick off soon, and that afternoon; a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Russellville Chamber of Commerce is planned at their East H Street location. And a "Meet & Greet" with new Executive Director Leslie Walton is planned.

River Valley United Way is ready for "HAVANA NIGHTS 2024". Is set for FRIDAY, JUNE 7 at the "Meadow on the Mountain" event center. And, tickets are on sale now. New Student enrollment for the Russellville School District is open for the 2024-2025 school year. Registration can be completed online and additional required documents must be turned in to each school's front office. More information about enrollment can be found at the District's website.

Starting Sunday, June 2, the Highway 7 Arkansas River Bridge between Dardanelle and Russellville will have alternating lane closures for the next 10 weeks as crews work on the bridge. Please be patient and use caution in the area during the closures.

River Valley Adult Learning Alliance invites you to learn Spanish, as they have a new group forming on Friday, May 31st. This interactive class is meant to get you out into the community and communicating with others! Russellville School District "Summer Meal Distributions" will begin on June 2nd. Coordinators remind this program will carry on throughout the summer. Pick-up will be at the Russellville Junior High School on Sundays: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and Mondays: 6:30 - 8:00 a.m. Get further details at the Russellville School District Website.
