Russellville School District "Summer Meal Distributions" are underway.  Coordinators remind this program will carry on throughout the summer. Pick-up will be at the Junior High School on Sundays: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and Mondays: 6:30 - 8:00 a.m. Get further details at the Russellville School District Website.

The City of Dardanelle Code Enforcement, Police, and Fire Committee will meet at 5 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Dardanelle City Hall. The committee will be discussing the city's Wrecker Rotation Policy. The meeting is open to the public.

Its Farmers Market time all across the valley.  Markets in Pope, Yell, Johnson and surrounding counties have opened for the season.  Get out on Saturday morning's and support these efforts, and enjoy the benefits of fresh produce and many other items.

River Valley Arts Center has several youth art related events planned for June.  A summer art 3-day camp is planned for June 11th thru the 13th.  And, a summer art camp is scheduled for June 17th thru the 21st, from 10 a/m to 12-noon.  Get further details at the River Valley Arts Center Facebook page.

June 29th is the date for "Sportsfest" at the Dardanelle Community Center.  Hosted by the Filipino/American community locally, basketball, volleyball and kids games will be just a part of the competition.  Registration starts at 9 and the games begin at 10:30 p/m.  Plenty of food, fun and fellowship.  No charge for registration, just come enjoy a day of eat and play.  Snacks and drinks will also be provided.  Call Suzanne Jones for further details, 453-0545.

Registration for the Russellville Recreation and Parks Department's fall softball league will begin on Monday, July 1 and end at 4:30pm on Friday, July 12.  You may register online or at the Hughes Community Center from 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.  The necessary forms are available in the Russellville Recreation and Parks Department office or on the Facebook page River Valley Adult Slow Pitch Softball (RSVL).
