Sunday, September 15th at Lake Dardanelle State Park...  10a.m. – Never Ending Campout Look and Learn Table – Wouldn't it be great if your campout at Lake Dardanelle State Park could last forever? It might be fun, but the effects of a campout might be felt for years to come if you are not careful. Stop by the park interpreter's Look and Learn Table in front of the visitor center to discover how long the things that get left behind might last.

Thursday, Sept. 19th, the Arkansas Tech Russellville campus will play host to guitarist Thu Le, the latest performer in the 2024 John and Trudy Watson Classical Guitar Series. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Witherspoon Auditorium. Admission will be free and open to the public.

Church League bowling gets underway for the fall September 19th at Strikers Bowling Alley.  A team meeting is planned for Friday, September 13th at 6:30 that evening.  League bowling runs for 10 weeks, wrapping up November 21st.  Call 968-0877 for further details.

Dardanelle's Veterans Riverfront Park will play host this year to the 3rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival, Set for September 21st from 2-till-10 p/m. Food, fun, entertainment, community services and a soccer tournament will be just a part of the event.  Mexican and El Salvadorian consulate services will again be on hand at the Dardanelle Library.  September 21st is the date... Antique Auto Enthusiasts will soon return to Petit Jean Mountain for the 27th Annual Fall Antique Auto Swap Meet, September 26th to the 28th, at the Museum of Automobiles.

Dardanelle Community Center is the location for a "River Valley Holiday Shopapalooza" set for October 25th and 26th, to benefit the River Valley "Toys for Tots" effort.  Check out River Valley Holiday Shopapalooza on Facebook.
