Santa has dropped off his mailbox and is ready to receive letters at the Russellville Train Depot (320 W C Street). Lamar Schools will have a "Celebrate our Students" night, Monday, Dec.9th from 4 to 6 p/m in all district buildings. Parents, family and friends are invited to attend.

Danville high school's "Colors Day" royalty will be recognized dring ceremonies set for Thursday, December 12th at the Ted Lyons Gym. Danville will host Sacred Heart that night, and royalty will be introduced at approximately 5:45 p/m, before the senior boys contest.

Danville Schools Christmas Concert is set for Friday, December 13th at 6:30 in the high scool cafeteria. District bands and c hoirs will perform. A bake sale will also be held the evening.

Western Yell County Colors Day festivities are planned for Thursday, December 12th in the high school Gym. Vying for Colors Queen will be seniors Sara Broadstock, Harley Harwell and Kynlee Millard.

This year's Danville Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 14th at 6 p/m, downtown. The city of Danville and the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce sponsor this event. Call Donna at 495-2013 for parade entry information.
