It's "Midwinter Concert" time for the Russellville School  System.  Monday at 6 p/m at the Center of the Arts.   The specific schedule includes... 6:00 RJHS Concert; 6:20 RJHS Symphonic; 6:40 RJHS  Symphonic Winds; 7:00 RHS Concert; 7:20 RHS Symphonic.

Another "Our Blood Institute" drive is just ahead.   Monday, St. Mary's  Regional Med-Center will play host to the bloodmobile from 10:30 till  3:30.  Tuesday, Harp's Food/Ozark will be a donation location from 1:30  to 6 p/m.  And, Wednesday; Clarksville High School has a drive scheduled  from 8:30 till 1:30 and ATU/Ozark from 9 till 2 p/m.  Give the "Gift of  Life" and that truly is blood, during an Our Blood Institute drive near  you soon.

Augsburg Zion Lutheran Church will hold a free will offering spaghetti  benefit dinner on Saturday, March 8th for Yecica Valdez.  A single mom,  Valdez had been diagnosed with two types of breast cancer.  Proceeds  will help with expenses during this time of treatment, while she  supports her 3-year old son.  5-to-8 p/m, Saturday, March 8th, Augsburg  Zion Lutheran Church 93 Augsburg Road in London.

Pope County Extension office is kicking off a "Beginning Home Gardening:The basics" course on February 28th from 4-to-6 p/m at the Farm Bureau office in Russellville.  Now, pre-registration for the class is required, as there are only 25 spots available.  County ag-agent Brandon Yarbery and the Pope County Master Gardeners will instruct the class.  Search Pope County Master Gardners on Facebook for additional details.
