Belleville Bargain Days/Spring Edition is right around the corner. June 7th is the date.  And, Mayor Steven Baxter says that anyone is eligible to reserve booth space on the grounds of City Hall that day.  Vendors will have everything from foods, homemade items, garage sale items and more.  There no set up fee. One of 2025's Russellville "Juneteenth" observances is set for Friday, June 13th. As a part of the celebration, four individuals will also be inducted into the local "Black Hall of Fame".  Included will be Ellen Collins, the late Helen Thompson, Eddie Colen Jr. and Randy Hendrix.  Juneteenth is a federal holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans in 1865.

Morrilton High School alumni who have been out of school for at least fifty years will soon come together for a day of fellowship and fun. The annual M-H-S Golden Reunion is set for Saturday, June 14th, at Morrilton High School's Devil Dog Arena.
