Pope County Fair officially gets underway today (Tues.), with horticulture/floriculture and plants, except cut flowers and roses to be entered from 9 to 6 p/m.  And, the carnival midway will open at 5 p/m.  Gate admission is 5-dollars.  Follow Pope County Fair-dot-com for additional details.

A Spring Lake Clean-up Day has been scheduled for Saturday, September 13th and those interested in participating are urged to call for additional details.   Food and drinks will provided for volunteers, who participated that day from 9 to 12-noon.  Call 518-3260 for additional details.
