Pottsville's "Butterfield Days" returning  this coming Saturday, September 20th at the  Pottsville Inn Museum.  Hours for the event will be  from 10-to-3.

St. Mary's Regional Health System extends a special  invitation to attend their "100-year Community  Celebration"  on Thursday, September 18th.  The event  is scheduled for 11:30 that day at the hospital on  West Main Street.  A centennial ribbon cutting is  planned, followed by guided facility tours.

September 19th, Pottsville junior high cafeteria will  play host to a fund raising meal to help Pottsville  high school band participate in national competition.
Hours for the meal will be 11:30 to 5:30 that day.

Brass in the Clouds will celebrate its 20th edition  when musicians from Arkansas Tech University perform  at Mount Nebo State Park on Saturday, Sept. 20. The  performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Mount Nebo's  Sunset Point.

The Arkansas River Valley Chapter of Quail Forever  will have their 11th annual banquet on October 4th in  the Yell County Wildlife Federation Building in   Dardanelle.  To learn more about the banquet, follow  the Yell County Wildlife  Federation Facebook page.

Pope County Health Unit officials remind that their  annual "Drive thru Flu Shot Clinic" will be held  Friday, September 26th.

A dedication date has been set for the new Pope  County Emergency Medical Service building on North  Arkansas in Russellville.  That date is September  29th at 9 a/m.
